about the same amount(heaped 2-3 tbsp) natural / plain Greek style yoghurt
Third (top) layer
a little less(heaped 1-2 tbsp) homemade cherry berry jam(or your favourite no refined sugar or low sugar jam)
Final (tippy top) layer
fresh seasonal fruit, cut into smallish pieces (we like mango, berries, lychees, peaches, plums and other soft fruits)
sprinkle of seeds or bee pollen (optional)
This recipe is for one pot only. Please repeat as required for the number of yoghurt pots you require.
Layer your ingredients in clean glass jam jars in the order set out above - i.e. first, second, third and final layer.
Serve immediately, if possible.
The ingredient amounts are a guide only and it's a matter of preference as to how much granola, yoghurt or jam you like. It's completely up to you!
It’s best to store these yoghurt pots in the fridge if you can. They will last a couple of hours well and perhaps even a whole day in the fridge but the longer you store them layered, the less crunchy the granola will become. In other words, these are most delicious eaten immediately.
